ManaÓs tech

Building robots, learning about the world of programming and game mechanics, learning how to edit videos for YouTube are some of the activities provided by Manaós Tech, which prepares children and young people between six and 16 years of age for the protagonism of the so-called Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Created in 2013, this robotics school works with the dissemination of technology knowledge to children and adolescents in Manaus and seeks to expand its area of action towards the rural areas of the state of Amazonas, along with needy communities, as a way of reducing the rural exodus of young people.

Today, the business teaches about 400 students in the three schools in Manaus. Operating above the break-even point, Manaós Tech is consolidating itself in the market and in the process of restructuring for expansion. In addition to helping to solve real problems, perceived by students, the company wants to help in the use of technology to solve social and environmental problems.

“Our desire is to reach the riverine communities, to reach a social price of BRL 89 (the monthly fee costs BRL 199) and, at first, to train the most inventive to be multipliers of our methodology”, says Glauco Aguiar da Paz, founder of Manaós Tech.
